Mark 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

The world has many causes: Save the Whales, Save the Trees, Fight Global Warming, Go Green, Animal Rights, Gay Rights, and the list goes on. Causes are important to the world. But what does "cause" really mean? Part of the definition of cause is "a producer of an effect." If one is part of a cause, one becomes a producer of an effect.

What is your cause? Is it the ultimate cause, the cause of Christ, who produced the ultimate effect: salvation? We have been commissioned to let the world know! We are in this to save the planet, but for reasons other than that of the world. We are not talking about saving a few pandas in China; we are talking about saving people all over the world from eternal global warming! It is time that Christians take on Christ's cause with fervor and zeal to rival the world's activists! mt
