Hebrew 11:7 -BSB- By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in godly fear built an ark to save his family. By faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

Deuteronomy 7:9 -NKJV- Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;

Rarely related with the story of Noah and the Ark is the fact that Noah was a man who walked with God. Noah lived during a difficult time period when sin was everywhere, people were wicked, and the world was losing control to evil. Noah was a hero, because he remained faithful to God, and God was faithful to him and honored him by choosing him and his family to repopulate the world.

Are you open to God's using you to do great things? Prepare yourself by remaining faithful during difficult times. You never know how or when God may choose to use you, but always be ready. jk
