In the name of Jesus Christ
In this month, the Christians and even non-Christians celebrate Christmas.
This is the birthday of our Lord Jesus Christ -- through His coming
in the flesh, and Mary, being a virgin gave birth. Many don't understand
the meaning or the purpose of this feast and the joy and happiness
that comes to us through the birth of Our Savior Jesus, the Redeemer
of all humanity.
Luk 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour,
which is Christ the Lord.
Yet, we as believers know that even as the people of God in the Old
Testament had the blessed hope to enter into the Promised Land, we
also have the same hope to enter into heaven. Under this new covenant
which we are now living, this comes about by obeying the Lord's commandment
to obey the Gospel, the plan which He has prepared for our salvation.
It requires true repentance from our sins, following water baptism
in Jesus' name, and God promises that He will give the gift of the
Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit
of God gives utterance. (Acts 2:38) A lot of people experience and
do just this in our time today, because God wants everybody to be
saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Merry Christmas and the Lord be with you. (es)
