The "Sign" which Saves Us |

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give
you a sign; behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call
        his name Immanuel.
Matthew 1:23 "Behold, the virgin shall be with
child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which
        is translated, "God with us."
       The
Bible tells us that in the beginning, God created heaven and earth and
everything that is in it by His Word. Everything which He made is very
good and without fault. He made man from the dust of the ground (Genesis
2:7) and in His image (Genesis 1:27). He blew living breath into his nostrils.
This is how man became a living soul. Therefore, a person has no life
        without the breath of God.

Unfortunately, sin came and caused the fall of mankind and separation
from God. However, God is good, gracious, and merciful. He is able to
do all things and He knows everything. He knows the beginning and the
end of all things. God never seeks any kind of solutions for any problems,
for He Himself is the solution for all problems. As a result of sin, there
was hopelessness, but the love of God gave people hope again and He promised:
Behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name
        Immanuel.

The prophecy was fulfilled when God took on flesh and blood in the womb
of the virgin Mary and came on the earth to us human beings. He suffered
and died on the cross for us.

However, this was not the end of the story. Jesus, our Lord and God, was
buried and on the third day, He arose from the dead. He has conquered
sin, death, and Satan, so that we can live eternally. Perhaps you do not
know this God yet. Now it is time for you to give your life to Him. The
life which you will receive from Him is free because He is the Life. Jesus
is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. May He bless you. dka
