Do you have a good Attitude?
|
Philippians 2:1-11 Therefore if there is any consolation
in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if
any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the
same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through
selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem
others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his
own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be
in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God,
did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of
no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness
of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and
became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore
God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above
every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those
in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that
every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of
God the Father.
As an
example of being a Christian, it is important to have a good attitude.
As a result, other people will also be drawn to you because it is pleasant
to be in your presence. It is said that Christians are known for having
a good attitude because the Holy Ghost lives inside of them. The Holy
Ghost in us enables us to lead our lives with assurance, for we know that
Jesus has everything under control. When you have a good attitude, the
people around notice it. They see your peace and your joy.
What kind of an attitude do you have, do you stand out with your friendliness
and your good Christian character? If you don't, what are you going to
do about it? If you do stand out with your positive attitude, then praise
the Lord and keep it up.
A new year has begun and most of us have new goals and resolutions. If
we allow God to work on us and live as according to His will, then we
will be successful. We must seek to be more like Jesus Christ, then the
world will recognize that we are His disciples. This will then be visible
within as well as outside of the church. John 13:35 By this shall
all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
