Three ITEMS in the Ark of the Covenant
Hebrews 9:4 ...and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about
with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's
rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant...
Ephesians 4:11-13 And He Himself gave some to be apostles,
some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of
the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man,
to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
Inside
of the Ark of the Covenant was three items. It was a jar of Manna,
the rod of Aaron, and the tablets of stone. The manna represented
the word of God, the rod represented the leadership, and the tablets
represented the law.
By placing them in the Holy of Holiest where the Spirit dwelled,
God was letting us know that the goal is to have a spiritual law
in that the Holy Ghost writes the law on our hearts, and that we
must receive a LIVING word made alive by the Spirit, and follow
a spiritual leadership. This is the fivefold ministry in the church.
When we are led by his Word, His Spirit and His leadership, we are
safe and moving in the right direction. Pastor Gøran Andreassen
