In the name of Jesus Christ
Some people drink energy drinks to boost their physical power so that
they enhance their skills and achieve greater goals. Other athlets
even use drugs and injections and try with doping to increase their
athletical accomplishments.
It is clear that this power is limited and only for a certain time
and sometimes harm the body.
The
Bible tells us about a promise of the LORD Jesus to receive power,
when we receive the Holy Ghost. But ye shall receive power, after
that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto
me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto
the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8). This power is a
spiritual power; it helps us to be patient and to stand difficulties
and face battles, which are coming against us from Satan and his fallen
angels.
This power helped the believers in the early centuries to spread the
gospel of Jesus Christ and the doctrine of the Bible and it is the
same power which helped Stephanus to stand firmly in the difficulties
of persecution and death. The power of the Holy Ghost guided and taught
the apostle Peter and Paul and the other disciples and of course still
teaches and guides till now.
Without this power we will not enter into heaven and without it, we
will not meet the Lord in the air at the rapture day. Then we
which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in
the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with
the Lord. (1. Thess 4:17)
The power of the Holy Ghost is what every believer needs in his daily
life in order to stand the challenges and difficulties and deal with
any situation with godly patience.
Dear Reader, do your best to receive the Holy Ghost in your life and
the Lord may be with you. es
