Trust in God's timing and care

Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

God heard the prayers of Job thousands of years ago and He hears our prayers today! God doesn’t always choose to answer them when WE want them answered, but He ALWAYS hears them. We can be confident that God is not hard of hearing.

In Luke18:1-11, Jesus explained our need to pray consistently and to keep praying until an answer comes. In verses 7-8 Jesus said, “Don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who plead with him day and night? He will grant justice to them quickly!”

Next time we get the urge to worry, we should replace our worry with a prayer. Worrying won’t help us at all, but our prayers will be heard by the One who can make things happen.

Let’s keep praying and praising our Lord Jesus Christ and faith gives thanks in advance. Let’s take the advice of Jesus to heart and plead in prayer day and night. Look how God turned things around for Job and He also will turn things around for us. The answer to our prayer will come quickly. jk
