John 3:36 "He who believes in the Son has
everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see
life, but the wrath of God abides on him."
Romans 12:17-19 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good
things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends
on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves,
but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is
Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.
In
many places of the Old Testament, we see how individuals or also whole
nations are affected by the anger and disappointment of God. In the
New Testament, God's wrath is directed to those wo reject His truth.
Read also Romans 1,18-20 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven
against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the
truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest
in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the
world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by
the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that
they are without excuse.
We could hinder God being annoyed with us, by following the truth which
He has revealed to us. jk
