and was made in the likeness of men.

Friendship, success, love, health -this and even more that - is what
we expect from life. Many have already succeeded in these things.
Their strengths, intelligence, and power has made them famous. Some
even let themselves be celebrated as being gods; others, on the other
hand, tried by a lot of hard work to prove themselves to God or to
other people. Yet, the same happened to them as to everyone else:
They had to die.
Are we living for ourselves? In the end, are we our own boss in life
just because of temporal glory? There has already been so many people
who wanted to be gods!
What a comparison to the one who is really God and, nevertheless,
wanted to become a human being. A friend who is strong, clever, and
powerful enough to move the entire planet of earth and the universe,
and, yet nonetheless, is personally interested in me.
He alone is God, and He came to earth and became a man because of
our salvation! He knows how difficult it is to be living in our skin.
He lived among us - not for Himself but for me and you, without lies
and was not unloving. However, He was killed by those who He loved.
His name is Jesus! He overcame death and lives forever. He is the
only God and loves all of us. He is there for the whole of humanity.
He knows that we are unable to get things straight with our own selves,
and that we need Him. He forgives our sin, heals our wounds, frees
us from all bondages, and gives us eternal life in His glory. He alone
is the Creator. Let Him be the boss of your life.
