1 Thessalonians 5:18
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you.
Jesus, the Lord of lords, God
of all gods, and King of kings, made all of us by His almighty power
and wisdom, and gave us life. Each one of us has been made for His glory.
He wants to have eternal fellowship with you and me. As a result of
sin, mankind has lost the glory of God. Thank God that our God, who
loves us more than anything else, made a way for us to be reconciled
to Him. He took on the form of man and came to this earth, so that we
could be reconciled to Him; this He did by He shedding His precious
blood on the cross, and thereby, saving us from eternal damnation.
We,
human beings, have every reason to be always thankful to Jesus our God
and Lord. We should thank Him at all times, not only for the things
which He does, but also because of who He is - He is God, the Creator.
In the Bible, “giving thanks” plays an important role. We praise and
worship God when we thank Him. “Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me”
(Psalms 50:23). We should always be thankful to God from our whole hearts
– for the wonderful world which He made for us; for providing us with
the gifts which we need for the body, soul, mind, and spirit; for His
guidance, goodness and grace, and for the victory which He has given
to us. The best is yet to come and that will last for all eternity,
which is - being with Him in heaven!
Without Jesus we cannot do anything. We should always thank Him at all
times from our whole hearts, in the good times and in the not so good
times. Jesus loves you. Come to Him, open your heart and obey the gospel
; then you will realize how great the blessing is to which you have
been called. With the new heart which God will give to you, you will
thank Him at all times with joy; and even in the times of need, Jesus
is faithful. God bless you. dka
