Romans 8:35-37 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. It is not always easy being a Christian. Following God and at the same time trying to keep all His commandments will, here and now, bring about opposition, frustration, and trials. However, Jesus knew which battles a person would have to face; and He reminds us that they will only last for a limited amount of time. Read about it in John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." This is a great verse, and one which we should remember when going through battles. Pain, trials, problems, and battles will pass away;
and we, as Christians, have all eternity in which we can rejoice that
God has overcome the world. Therefore, give HIM praise for that! jk |
