        The Ability to Hear
Sub - Theme: The Important Need of Spiritual Maturity!

          Scripture Text: John 10:1-5, 27
Opening Thoughts: In our daily spiritual experience it’s very important
that we seek to grow to a greater sense of spiritual maturity! When
growing in the spirit it’s not just growing in knowledge of the Word
but more important growing into spiritual sensitivity having the ability
to discern and to act upon the Voice of God! We live in a society today
that many people can throw around scripture but yet they haven’t been
transformed by the washing and cleansing of the Word! They might look
the part but they must become spiritual products of the very things
they profess and in some cases teach. They’re spiritual abilities that
equip the Saint with spiritual ears to hear His Voice.

           John
10:1-5 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the
door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is
a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd
of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice:
and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when
he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep
follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow,
but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

The Porter is the gate keeper of the soul. He opens the door and let’s
Jesus come in and as we mature in the spirit, His voice becomes a continual
voice that ministers to the needs of the soul and the Lord knows you
by name and you in return know His voice!

for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
          and we shall be changed.
