Friendship
is something beautiful that every one of us is so grateful for and
blessed with it. When there is a friend in an individual's life, then
by exchanging their visions and consulting each other, it adds another
taste to their lives; also when comfort is needed in a special situation
or helping each other -- these things are something natural in a friendship's
world.
But
things that are considered unnatural are betrayal of your friend,
talking badly about him, whispering gossip behind his back or breaking
a secret that the friend wants nobody else to know.
In a friendship's world you will not find that your friend is not
helping you, when help is needed and the provision to meet the need
is available. Letting down a friend with such failures could lead
to anger, disappointment, depression or sometimes even to sickness.
Well, someone might say that all human beings are not perfect or faultless,
they still can make mistakes and this is true, but there is a friend
perfect and loyal for every one of us and when we ask Him for help,
He will step in and we can talk with Him anytime we want to. We can
consult Him in all matters and He comforts us in our sadness and will
be happy with us in our joy; He also has the power and authority to
heal us, when we become sick and He encourages us, when we are depressed
and keeps us from all evil and this friend is of course JESUS. He
is always faithful and He don't let us down, when we ask Him for something
according to His will. In times our earthly friends might fail us,
our Heavenly Friend reaches out His hands to us to lift us up from
the pit of depression, brokenness and loneliness and gives us hope
again. How could we reject a friendship like this that we need in
this difficult and dark times, as the power of evilness try to conquer
everything around us? (Proverbs 18:24 But
there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.)
Let us be close to this faithful and loyal friend and the best way
to be close to Him is to walk in His commandments and His commandments
are not heavy. (1. John 5;3b and also in Matthew 11:30 Jesus says:
For my yoke is easy, and my burden
is light.)
Jesus gave this commandment through the mouth of the apostle Peter
in Acts 2:38: Repent, and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
What are we waiting for? The Holy Ghost spoke to the apostle Paul:
Act 22:16 And now why tarriest thou?
arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name
of the Lord.
Let us work in His commandments and win His friendship, so we can
live a quiet, blessed and peaceful life, without having any worries
on this earth until we meet this Friend in the Rapture Day.
This offer of friendship is still valid today. May God be with you.
