In the name of Jesus Christ
Some believers think that when they ask something from God in their
prayer to Him, He should respond to them immediately and if He doesn't
answer right away, they get angry with Him and get in a dispute with
God; they think that He is not concerned about them, so they start
their backslide jorney.
But there is another type of believers, when they ask something from
God in their prayers, they have patience until their request is answered,
even if their request would carry on and would be delayed for many
years.
One
of the fathers prayed to God to get back his backslidden son and his
request was answered after 15 years, and one mother prayed to get
back her son, who became drug addicted after backsliding from God
and her request was answered after 4 years and her son is now a firm
and healthy believer again.
God is a prayer answering God and He is the One who decides, when
this should happen and we cannot get in a debate with God concerning
this matter. He says in Romans 9:20 But indeed, O man, who are
you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed
it, “Why have you made me like this?”and all we can do is to
pray with faith and thanksgiving as God says through Paul in Philippians
4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
God is the One, who searches the heart and the reins, He can see and
hear and answer according to His divine will and in His timing.
And all we can do is to hold our faith and have patience, for There
is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and
open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrew
4:13
All the glory and greatness to Him.
May God be with you. es
