In Jesus name,
I was surfing in the Internet and I read in
a posting about a woman, who converted from the Christian faith to
another religion. This subject drew my attention and I was searching
for other details regarding this issue. So I read the testimony of
this woman who said that she once was a believer and she used to study
the Holy Bible and go to church regularely and she had tried to win
people for the Lord, so they would be saved. Then I read the reasons,
which convinced or motivated this woman to leave her faith to embrace
another religion. I found these reasons to be completely weak. The
foundation on which this woman had built her spiritual house was sandy
and unstable. When the floods of the devil came and his storm blew,
this house could not stand and its falling was deep.
It happened exactly as the Lord Jesus had described this foolish man
in Matthew 7:26-27 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine,
and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house
on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds
blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
The Lord
Jesus said in Mark 3,27 No one can enter a strong man’s house
and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then
he will plunder his house. The devil used the same tactic in
his attack of the woman. As this woman was not putting on the whole
armor of God, which is represented by the breast plate of righteousness,
the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the spirit,
which is the Word of God and she didn't put on her feet the boots
for the sake of the gospel of peace and didn't girt her loins about
with truth, she lost the battle and her soul (Ephesian 6: 11-17),
to win the world, which leads to the abyss.
Brothers and Sisters, the Lord Jesus said in Matthew 24, 12-13 And
because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
The dark world we live in nowadays is full stumble blocks and trials,
which the devil puts in our ways to separate us from God's work and
from serving Him and to go astray from our path of truth, as this
woman did, but the Apostle James gives us understanding in James 1,3-4
Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But
let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete,
lacking nothing.
Let us stand firm in spirit and not to be shaken, praying always in
the spirit, waiting for the coming of the Lord.
God be with you. es
