Farmers sow seed in anticipation of an abundant increase in due time. A single apple seed can produce an entire apple tree with plentiful apples, and one small kernel of corn can produce 2800 times its equivalent. This amazing phenomenon "the Law of the Harvest" is not merely true to the farmer but pertinent in every area of life. For instance, Peter Thiel sowed half a million dollars for a 10% share into the then fameless social networking platform "Facebook" and reaped $400 million just 7 years later, as he sold 80% of his investment! However, this entrepeneur sowed into a vision, and not necessarily his own, but a vision that already existed. His fresh impetus of knowledge, innovation and determination helped progress the vision into reality.

If this is valid in the earthly realm, how much more does it apply to the children of God today? The God-given vision, our great commission, hasn't changed and is one so great, it requires more hands, more feet, more financial sources, etc. Nevertheless, it is coming to pass! Sadly, satan also exploits this principle by sowing his seed or tares (Mt. 13:25) into many hearts and minds today, to render the Christian ineffective tomorrow. Dreading the damages any born again child of God can cause to his weakening kingdom, satan's frustrated voice rings through the corridors of darkness: Sow more lies into their lives now and they will struggle to (be)lieve the whole Truth in future! Convince them that love is a feeling and immediately when trials arise they will be discouraged and eventually fall out of love! Fill their hearts with pride, fear, guilt, bitterness today and paralyze their worship tomorrow! Throw more pornographic images at them today, eventually making them unfaithful to God and spouses, even destroying future relationships! No need for intoxicating substances.. just get them so hooked on futile entertainment and that will eliminate Bible reading and prayer time!

Only if we remain unintentional about our God-given vision will we fall prey to satan's antics, because his plans have been exposed. "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.." (2 Cor. 10:4) As a result, more people than ever before are stepping into covenant relationship with Christ and multitudes are following. You are reading this article today, because of the many who faithfully sowed in times past. It is our time to sow! "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the thing which God has prepared for those who love Him" (1 Cor. 2:9) It may be your investment that generates the needed momentum for the unquantifiable breakthroughs and revival of souls in your region. Sow your heart into God's Kingdom today and better position your families, churches and future generations for the unprecedented, unimaginable and unheard-of harvest.
