My first name is Marcel. I am married and the father of a lovely little girl. I would like to
share with you what the Lord has done for me... But before going any further I want to thank the Lord, because He is wonderful, unequalled, full of goodness and mercy. He is faithful and just.

We all have need of the peace of God in our lives ; this peace is precious and enables us
to overcome the many trials that come our way. I remember how the Lord gave me His peace. One evening when I was filled with despair and did not know who to turn to for help and consolation, I sought help from the Lord. When I arrived at church, the Pastor said to me , "Courage, Brother !" It was a word from the Lord, but I needed more. When I returned home, my heart in anguish, I went directly to my room with my Bible, hoping to receive some help from the Lord. But no sign from Him. I began to weep, the tears falling on my Bible. I closed my Bible and knelt down to pray. I couldn't even pray, I was suffering so. I remember that all I could do was whisper, "Jesus"...

I laid down, my tears falling on my bed. A voice awakened me in the middle of the night saying, "The suffering have victory." I thought I was dreaming but I could feel the sweet presence of the Lord in my room. I knew it was the Lord, for I had felt His presence many times before. Even our small dog felt it and barked. At that moment I felt a peace flood over me, a peace I had not had in my heart. I began to thank the Lord for what He was doing for me.

My problems were still there the next day, but they no longer troubled me. I was able to freely worship and praise the Lord Jesus Christ. The peace of God fills my heart until this very day, and I am able to overcome my difficulties without fear, even when there seems to be no hope.
