Jesus has delivered me

I'm in my twenties, born between two cultures, because I was born in Martinique and grew up in mainland France: I'd like to give you a testimony of what God has done in my life.

When I was very young, I was looking for the face of Jesus Christ: I wanted to be a nun.
My mother and I often went to Sunday morning evangelical meetings in a small assembly in the Val-D'oise.

For a long time, I was in the grip of an evil spirit that haunted me day and night.

Being young and unaware of the truth, the years passed and my life went by. From the depths of my being, I knew that God had something for me.

One day I came across a church that I thought would give me what I was looking for... I was taught for a month and accepted baptism. I realized that the medium taught was not the Bible, but their book which venerated their prophet. My questions and prayers remained unanswered, I didn't understand what was going on: I was confused.

One evening, kneeling in my room, God touched me. I asked him to direct me on the right path. My communion with him wasn't perfect, but my prayer was answered. He directed me to my native Martinique, where the difficulties were greater for me. I loved the things of this world and found it hard to let go. Satan knew that God had a plan for me, so he tried every possible way to destabilize me.

Nevertheless, I was invited to join the United Pentecostal Church, because I wanted to receive true baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. I made the decision to receive Jesus into me. On the day of my baptism, I was shaking like a leaf and hesitating until the last minute. I knew I was going to be delivered. God is all-powerful. I am now baptized in the name of Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit. I persevere in the Word of the Lord, I have victory in the name of Jesus. Every day I am blessed. I thank God now for saving me, washing away my sins, healing me in Jesus Christ.
